Congratulations to Joanne and James, at Hercules Hall, Portmeirion on the 4th February 2012

Despite the weather Joanne and James’ day was crammed packed with happiness and fun. Everybody had a great time and so did I!

Joanne and James have to take the record for braving the elements of any couple I have ever photographed. Although it may not look like it in the pictures, the cold wind and horizontal rain made it a tough proposition to go outside. All this didn’t stop them sneaking a quick walk around the village. Well done guys!!

Please enjoy the pictures

Congratulations to Tanya and Tom on their wedding at St Celynin Church and Bae Abermaw Hotel, Barmouth on 11.11.11.

11.11.11……. what an auspicious date to get married!

The ceremony at St Celynin Church in Llwyngwril included red paper aeroplane confetti which was thrown by the congregation as the happy married couple walked down the aisle. In all the weddings I have shot, I have never seen such a colourful and spontaneous idea which made the whole thing unforgettable!

The day was themed with all the famous children’s games and characters to compliment Tanya and Tom’s shared passion. The Bae Abermaw Hotel with it’s lovely rooms together with stunning panoramic views over the Mawddach Estuary in Snowdownia made an amazing reception venue. Please enjoy the pictures.

Congratulations to Becky and Graeme on their wedding at Portmeirion on the 8th of October!

Fun, brollies and laughter were the order of the day.
The weather was continuous rain in Portmeirion village but it never seems to be a problem concerning the photography. The brollies are a great prop and I think that we used them to full effect!
As long as my clients are willing to brave the rain, as you can see that Becky and Graeme were, anything is possible!
Well done guys! I Hope that you enjoy the pictures.

Becky and Graeme on their pre-wedding shoot at Portmeirion

Becky, Graeme and I had a great time wandering around Portmeirion on our little mission. These two, again, are a fab couple very much in love and really into photography. We managed to find new locations which isn’t difficult when you have the whole village to explore.

Hoping that you like the images.

Congratulations to Denise and Peter on their wedding reception at the Deganwy Quay Hotel, 17th September 2011

I was in my home town of Conwy to photograph Peter, it felt great to be back.

Denise was getting ready at the Deganwy Quay Hotel and had a lot of family around her there who were a real giggle. We all went off to the ceremony at St Joseph’s in Colwyn Bay which is a beautiful church as you will see from the photographs.

We then headed to Conwy to do some portraits before going to meet everybody at the Quay Hotel. The heavens had opened which was a shame but the photography was still possible as luckily Denise and Peter didn’t care about getting wet! It turned to be a lot more than we bargained for as the downpour became torrential, but still not one complaint from Denise and Peter! The whole experience was unforgetable and made it all very exciting. The flooded roads reminded us how lucky we were to have survived unscathed. I doubt it if my camera gear felt the same!

Later the weather was the complete opposite from before and we all were able to enjoy the brilliant sunshine. The huge balcony of the Quay Hotel with its incredible views over Conwy was an excellent space to do some portraits and all within a few steps from the reception rooms.

Please enjoy the pictures.
